Opened in the fall of 1991, the Thames Campus Arena features an Olympic size ice surface of 100’x200′ with six dressing rooms. The arena has an elevator and is wheelchair accessible.
This facility, located in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, provides numerous youth and adult programs such as figure skating, ice hockey and a number of other special events. The arena has spectator seating for 1,400 people and a capacity of 800 people on the arena floor.
The Thames Campus Arena operates its winter ice season from September to March, Spring ice in April and May and its summer season runs during July and August. This facility is unique in its location, which is adjacent to St. Clair College and is surrounded by three lit softball fields, two soccer fields, a picnic shelter and a playground.
