One of three single pad arenas in the Whitewater Region. The others are in Beachburg and Cobden.
The Westmeath Recreation Centre is operated by the Westmeath & District Recreation Association, an all-volunteer group providing recreational and community activities for the citizens of the northern section of the Township of Whitewater Region in the Upper Ottawa Valley of Ontario.
The local house league is the Westmeath Warriors.
