The Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex is a multi-use complex located in LaSalle, Ontario. The Vollmer Complex was built in 2008. It is named after the Vollmer family who live in LaSalle. Joan and John Vollmer and Darlene and Brad Vollmer believe in our community, and wanted to help build a place to hold activities for people of all ages.
Inside the building, you will find:
- 2 NHL size arenas; one with seating for 1,000 people, the other with seating for 200 people
- 10 dressing rooms plus a female room and a referee room
- Fully accessible washrooms
- Swimming pool, waterslide, sauna and hot tub
- WFCU fitness centre and walking track
- Meeting and activity rooms
The Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex has been awarded a SafeTravels Stamp, which is recognized globally for adopting proper, standardized health and hygiene protocols.
