Toyota Center

The former Tri-Cities Coliseum opened its doors in 1988 as a hockey arena. Twelve years later, the City of Kennewick financially rescued and purchased the troubled Coliseum, also in 2000 a year-round ice arena called Rink “B” was added on . In 2004, the two buildings were renamed the Three Rivers Coliseum and the Three Rivers Ice Arena. In October of 2005, the City of Kennewick and VenuWorks completed a naming rights sponsorship agreement with Toyota USA and Toyota of Tri-Cities. They became the Toyota Center and Toyota Arena. The Toyota Center comfortably seats up to 7,200 in multiple configurations. The Toyota Center is also home to the WHL’s Tri-City Americans.
