Colby College’s Harold Alfond Athletics and Recreation Center features the Jack Kelley Rink and is the centre of Colby Recreation. The Colts’s men’s and women’s ice hockey teams took to the ice for their first practices on October 15th, 2020 in the 1,796-seat arena.
This is a NCAA Division III facility; the Colby Mules play in the NESCAC (New England Small College Athletic Conference). Other arenas within NESCAC include Orr Rink (Amherst College), Underhill Arena (Bates College), Sidney J. Watson Arena (Bowdoin College), Dayton Arena (Connecticut College), Sage Rink (Hamilton College), Chip Kenyon ’85 Arena (Middlebury College), Koeppel Community Sports Center (Trinity College), Malden Valley Forum (Tufts University), Spurrier-Snyder Rink (Wesleyan University) and Lansing Chapman Rink (Williams College).
