The Fenlands Banff Recreation Centre is home to many public programs and community classes. Drop-in skating, shinny and parent and tots skate are offered during the winter months. Come and enjoy a great Canadian activity in an indoor setting, rent skates, access free helmets, balance bars and more.
The Fenlands is home to:
- An NHL sized arena with 4 dressing rooms (Arena 2) and spectator bleachers for 90 persons.
- A full-sized arena with 4 dressing rooms (Arena 1) and spectator bleachers for 500 persons.
- A concourse with views of mountain vistas and capacity for 200 persons (note: private rentals not accepted from October to May annually).
- A full-service lounge and bar with capacity for 80 persons (note: private rentals not accepted from October to May annually, unless through the Banff Curling Club).
- Two modern meeting rooms with classroom audiovisual capabilities for between 40-50 persons.
- Arena dry floors, perfect for your next tradeshow, conference or large-scale special event. Each of the three arenas has a capacity between 400 – 700 persons (note: private rentals for the dry floors are not accepted from October to May annually).
