Vermont State University’s Spartan Arena is located in the Diamond Run Mall Complex in Rutland, VT. The university changed its name from Castleton University to Vermont State University in 2023.
Spartan Arena is the home of VSU’s men’s and women’s ice hockey programs as well as countless other events that benefit its students, staff, and the greater Rutland community.
This facility uses the REALice floodwater treatment system instead of hot water floods, and has since 2013.
