Sharks Ice San Jose

Sharks Ice at San Jose is the largest indoor ice rink facility west of the Mississippi and one of only seven rink facilities in the United States that currently operates at least six NHL-sized ice rinks. It is owned by the City of San Jose and has been managed and operated by Sharks Ice LLC, a subsidiary of Sharks Sports & Entertainment, since 1998.

The nearly 370,000 square-feet facility accommodates ice hockey, figure skating, broomball, curling, speed skating, ice dancing, as well as public skating. Sharks Ice is the official practice facility of the NHL’s San Jose Sharks as well as the new home to the AHL’s San Jose Barracuda who plays out of the TechCU Arena. Sharks Ice at San Jose, along with Sharks Ice at Fremont, currently holds the largest number of Adult USA Hockey participants (2,400) of any facility in the nation.

The facility features an in-house pro shop, large meeting and party spaces, as well as Stanley’s Sports Bar, a full service restaurant and bar that overlooks the Orange, Black and White rinks, and Calder’s Sports Bar & Refuge overlooking Grey Rink and Sharks Rink.
