Newly built in 2020, the NHL-sized ice pad has excellent quality ice for skating events, from late August to Easter weekend. The arena facilities include a warm viewing area on the lower and upper floors, 6 change rooms, seating for 294, standing viewing for 90, and 6 accessible seats.
The arena is the home of the Haliburton Huskies, Junior A-Team, The Highland Storm, and the Minden Figure Skating Club.
