“The most impressive facility of its’ kind” between North Bay and Ottawa, the P.M.C. has a rich history and captures the imagination of many who enter her doors. The main tenant, the Pembroke Lumber Kings are a storied Junior “A” franchise and won the Royal Bank Cup in 2011 to claim the national championship. Built in the early 1950s, the Centre hosts hockey, ball hockey, trade shows, concerts and various special events.
The City of Pembroke has a second arena, the Pembroke and Area Community Centre, which is also available for rental and regularly host hockey practices and games and public skating.
