The City of Dawson Creek took centre stage when the facility that was then named the Encana Events Centre opened in the spring of 2008. In 2021, it was renamed as the Ovintiv Events Centre.
The Ovintiv Events Centre is a state-of-the-art, multi-events centre with 4,500 permanent seats. And, with 27 VIP Luxury Suites, it is the premier entertainment facility for the entire British Columbia and Alberta Peace Region.
