Red Deer offers 62 outdoor skating rinks for public use. Each site is maintained by the Parks Section and includes boarded rinks for hockey/ringette, as well as snowbank rinks for leisure skating and 3 pond skating locations. (No hockey sticks or pucks allowed on the ponds or ovals.) We aim to have all outdoor rinks ready by the first week of December, however this is weather dependent.
