The Grettir Coop Inc. was formerly known as the Grettir Amateur Athletic Association and was established in 1912. This non-profit organization is responsible for the operation of the Lundar Sportsplex which includes the arena, curling rink and swimming pool. New ball diamonds which are in the process of being finished will fall under the umbrella of Grettir as well. The sports organizations that are a part of Grettir are Lakeside Minor Hockey, Lundar Minor Ball, Lundar Curing Club, Lundar Swimming Pool and most recently, Lundar Falcons junior B Hockey team.
