Lee Clement Ice Arena

Lee Clement Arena is home to the Pilgrim women’s and men’s ice hockey programs.

The rink was constructed in 1991 and was named after Leon E. Clement who was a member of the first graduating class at New England College in 1949.  Clement went on to work at NEC for 34 years in several different positions including the registrar’s office, alumni director, coach, and athletic director.

The rink currently seats over 750 people, including a mezzanine overlook. Not only is the rink home to the Pilgrims it also serves as home ice for John Stark Regional High School and Henniker Youth Hockey Association.

In addition to the playing surface, the rink boasts numerous locker rooms, including two newly remodeled locker rooms that serve the men’s and women’s ice hockey and men’s and women’s lacrosse programs.  The rink is home to several offices, including the athletic director and members of the coaching staff.

The ice is typically installed in late September and runs through early March.
