The Kitscoty Arena Board is a volunteer board which has been responsible for running the Kitscoty Arena since 1974. The Arena Board works together with the Kitscoty Ag Society, Kitscoty Minor Hockey, Kitscoty Skating Club, Kitscoty Public Schools, Village of Kitscoty, County of Vermilion River and the Kitscoty Arena Concession to ensure the doors stay open. The Arena Board is responsible for the utilities, maintenance, staffing, upgrades, concession, ice times and rentals. The money we receive to run the arena comes from skating fees (Arena fees paid by members of KMH and Kitscoty Skating Club), rink advertising, ice fee rentals, concession and grants. The Kitscoty Arena is owned by the Kitscoty Ag Society and the land which the arena sits on is owned by the Village of Kitscoty.
