The Gryphon Centre Arena opened in January 1989 and features two indoor ice rinks. The centre is home to the University of Guelph’s men’s and women’s varsity hockey teams and the varsity figure skating team.
The Gold Rink is Olympic-sized and the Red Rink is NHL-sized. The facility also has a Tim Horton’s coffee shop located in the Gryphon Centre Lobby and the Gryphs Sports Lounge located on the second floor.
