Busy twin pad arena in Gloucester (Ottawa). Named in honour of Fred Barrett, the former mayor of Gloucester. His sons, Fred and John, both played hockey in the NHL: Fred played from 1970 to 1984, for the Minnesota North Stars and Los Angeles Kings; John played in the NHL from 1980 to 1987 for the Detroit Red Wings, the Washington Capitals and Minnesota North Stars.
