Formerly known as the Enmax Centrium, the Peavey Mart Centrium, completed in 1991, is a landmark of Central Alberta. This multi-use facility accommodates concerts, hockey, motorsports, ice shows, major curling events, boxing, rodeos, wrestling, trade shows, marching band competitions, and conventions, all of which find a comfortable fit.
In 2012, the Peavey Mart Centrium expansion added 13 extra luxury suites, a 40-seat club suite, and an additional 1,000 seats. In 2015, the arena was improved with state-of-the-art spring-loaded rink boards with cast acrylic and soft rubber caps. The new rink boards are designed to enhance player safety and improve puck play.
The arena meets National Hockey League standards and is the leader in efficiency and safety in the Western Hockey League.
