Chapman Hill is Durango’s in-town affordable ice rink and ski area. Chapman Hill has 500 vertical feet of terrain maintained with snowmaking and expert grooming for skiers and snowboarders. The area includes two rope tows, a bumps course and park features. Ski and snowboard lessons with expert instructors are available for all ages and levels. Enjoy tubing when conditions permit.
The Ice Rink offers public skating, drop-in hockey, stick and puck, a freestyle program, adult hockey leagues and lessons for all levels as well as weekly Disco Night skating. The rink is also home of the Durango Area Youth Hockey program and Fort Lewis College Club hockey team. The facility is available for birthday parties and private events. Enjoy roller skating on the rink in the summer!
