Owned by the Municipality of Dysart Et Al, the A.J. LaRue Arena in Haliburton is a a single ice pad. Facility staff put in the ice in mid-June to be ready for the summer season and then it remains in place for the fall/winter season. The ice is taken out following the Easter weekend. In May and June, the dry surface is available to rent for ball hockey or other functions.
